Our ACT Tutoring program in Mission Viejo is by far the most specialized in Southern California and possibly even in the country. Our program is so different because of how and why the ACT Tutoring Program was written to begin with. What many people don’t realize is that every large ACT Tutoring company hires writers to put their large programs together. But are these writers in touch with the students' needs by working as ACT tutors in the past? Often times not! Believe it or not, many ACT Tutors in Mission Viejo use courses that are put together by the larger companies and are not written with the typical student in mind. These companies invest heavily in the look and feel of their course, while often times neglect investing critical attention to the minute, individualized details which our company focuses on. Unfortunately, more often than not, a student needs exactly that.
That is why Tier One Tutors was created, and is also why we've been so successful the last few years. The ACT Tutoring program was put together over a long period of time, and is based in part on actual ACT questions. Unlike every other ACT Tutor in Mission Viejo who wrote programs before they even knew what exactly was going to be on the new test, we pushed the money aside and strove for perfection. The fruit of our labor has finally shown through in our specialized and unique approach to the ACT!
The writers of our ACT Tutoring program are the two young, dynamic, and ambitious owners of Tier One Tutors, Steve Dorfman and Brian Mupo. Both of them have spent untold amounts of hours writing and developing this system. Their unique SAT and ACT programs are the backbone of Tier One Tutors which serves all of Southern California, including Mission Viejo.

Mission Viejo: A Planned Community Done Right
Mission Viejo is a mostly residential area located in Orange County, California. It is known for being one of the very largest planned communities in the whole nation. Even with this being said, Mission Viejo has achieved recognition for its love of nature, as well as for their very low crime rates. Here, we will look at the history of the area, crime statistics, as well as the composition of the current population.
History
Originally, the land that Mission Viejo was founded upon was owned by John Forster, a Mexican who was also a soldier that helped the US by giving them horses for their missions in the area. For many years, the land that Mission Viejo was founded on was thought to be unable to be urbanized because of the lay of the land. Mostly, it was used as pasture for local cattle and sheep. This was until Donald Bren designed a fabulous plan for the land, putting Spanish influenced adobe-like homes on any of the hills, and running streets and roads along the valleys. In the 70s and 80s, demand for homes in this area exploded.
Safety
Mission Viejo is a very safe area. It is so safe that many different organization have awarded it awards for being the safest city in the nation, as well as the state of California. Perhaps it has something to do with how the town is so scenic, serene, and many recreational areas in the area. Whatever the secret, you can rest assured that this town is a very safe one to live, work, and play in.
Demographics
This city is overwhelming made up of Caucasian residents, which account for around 80%. Latinos are the next largest group in the area, accounting for only about 17% of the total population. Most households are opposite-sex married couples living together. The median age, at around 42, is also quite a bit older than the national average. The entire city only has about 5% of the population living under the poverty line, and has a very large median income. Over two-thirds of the population own their own homes in the area, instead of renting. There are more females in this area than males, as well.
